DOLORES ONE™

The Dolores One™ is the first in a new generation of devices that provide speech assistance and enhancement for patients with compromised speech capabilities, and those undergoing treatment with equipment that impact the patient’s ability to communicate verbally.

The Dolores One™ is comprised of an acoustic throat sensor that is attached to the patient’s neck, picking up vocal cord vibrations and transmitting the signal to the control unit that processes the sensor signal and outputs the patient’s voice. The smart signal processing automatically accommodates both weak or forced voices as well as whispers, and produces an output to allow for normal conversation in the patient’s natural voice, free from the sounds of rushing air or equipment noises.

Comprised of only three simple buttons (on/off, volume up, and volume down), the Dolores One is one of the most intuitive devices in the medical industry, providing ease of operation for both patient and caretaker.

Current evaluation encompasses a wide range of non-invasive ventilation patients. BiPAP and CPAP patients benefit greatly from the Dolores One, as well as other patients unable to speak loudly due to weakened condition or ailment.

The Dolores One™ allows even critical care patients to remain connected to society and take an active role in communicating their needs and condition.
